Another mural for Dimension Data in one of their call centers in Johannesburg. This is the canteen area, just behind the photographer is a kitchen area with a few more tables and TV's for colleagues to watch news or sports while they have their lunch breaks or breakfasts.
The canteen area leads into the games area where they have TV games, pool tables and old arcade machines.
Dimension data also created an indoor basketball court area with table tennis tables. The floor was lined with astro turf, trees where set up in pot plants and park lights where installed to create the feeling that you were in a downtown park. The office space wrapped around this courtyard which became a central feature.
The innovation room or "Innovation Vault" was also painted at this call center. This room was actually built as a safe room within the building so it has a huge solid metal safe door, making it their own secret innovation hub with a cool twist. The murals create the illusion that you are stepping into a brain full of firing neurons, and the wall on the left has been painted with white board paint which gives the space a more interactive experience.
We even painted a few of the lockers bays around the office with different space ships from star wars. All in all, we had a lot of fun at this work space.
