Her studies and work experience include productions in the fashion industry and even music as a background vocalist, traveling with South African musicians like Mel Botes. She worked for several years at the Everard Read Gallery in Johannesburg where she met Zesta.
Zesta's mural depicts a young girl opening a book, with a swirl of icons symbolizing future possibilities and positive values popping out, like a genie from a lamp. The icons include two hands shaking, right at the top of the mural, that symbolize unity and equality.
